SPOILERS FOR BOOK 4+

(Anonymous) 2012-11-20 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Jon is commander of the Night's Watch (and possibly dead?) so I highly doubt he's going to inherit Winterfell regardless of what Robb wanted. And IIRC, Jon comes behind Sansa in birthright anyway, despite being a male, because he's a bastard.

Bran's storyline is going in a really weird direction and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he really did disappear somewhere to live the rest of his days as some kind of mystical skin changer fellow. I don't think, at this point, he's going to be able to live a normal life as a Lord ever again.

Rickon is really the only Stark of any consequence left in regards to Sansa's inheritance. And while I don't wish for his death, anything could happen in the next two books so I plan to just wait and see.

That's true, but as someone who loves Sansa, my wishes for her ending of the series do not include "I hope that you never ever see your two little brothers again because I hope that they die or disappear behind the Wall." And what's the point of Rickon's existence if he's NOT going to come back to Winterfell? So far he has no use in the storyline, unless he's supposed to be the last male Stark heir.
