What about Circe's voice? There is a player's brief where she's telling you that she wants you by her side and whatnot and it's freaking hot.

I know, but it's just that one spot, and since whoever her VA is can actually act worth a damn, she sounds like she doesn't actually care about you, she just wants you to fall for her manipulation. Even if she's your mentor, she sounds really imperial, and I can't help but roll my eyes and think, "Yeah, lady, you just keep prattling on about power, I got a knife with your back's name alllllllllllllllllll over it."

(It's possible that I get way too into roleplaying this game in my head.)

Calculator, on the other hand, is way too damn eager to jump on the friggin' comm, and sounds as though he's taking personal pride in corrupting the player. Just so... gleeful.

(Booster Gold, on the third paw, is someone I barely tolerate as a hero and won't even go near as a villain. I love the VAs in this game.)

(Although the comic-book endings, after boss fights? Had to send a couple stills off to Escher Girls. My god, the anatomy.)

Oh, dude, I've been wanting to play this but the thought of Oracle having an unsexy voice is giving me pause. Can I get confirmation on that? WHAT DO I DO NOW?

It's not that it's immediately unsexy; it's that she sounds like she's having a conversation with you, like a mature adult woman, and Calculator sounds like he's trying to make you orgasm in public. There's one point where he talks about the Hall of Doom (villain base/teleporter in-between) and he says something like, "So listen for my dulcet tones" and he positively purrs it.

Whereas Oracle's like, "Hey, let me tell you about the JLA Watchtower," and she's actually trying to tell you about the JLA Watchtower.

And you may as well play it; it's free except for a few things that you can pay for, and I really like their costuming system: your reward is clothes, but your reward is clothes that do stuff, and the equipment system is completely separate from the costuming system.

The only thing is the controls can be a little confusing, but would you like to know all the reasons I love this game or should I just shut up now?

I guess I can deal with that. Since, you know, it makes sense for the character. I just like to think of her as someone who has an unintentionally hot voice even while using a professional tone.

Oracle is more adorable than sexy. Her voice is fine, and she probably will make you smile with the things she said. I dunno, I like her more than Calculator.
