If it helps, I mostly meant that I pictured them that way physically, but some aspects of their personalities matched up pretty well too and it made some of the jokes slightly funnier.

As dickish as it is to say this... I agree. I don't want Homestucks all up in my John Dies/Spiders fun. I mean plus the characters/people the characters are based on both use those names AND write for Cracked which makes the headcannon all weird. Unless you don't care, I guess.

I really hope I don't picture this when I read them again.

uhh but neither of the characters really resemble each other? like i haven't read homestuck, but i'm pretty sure there aren't really any resemblances here beyond really, really contrived ones
