I like it when a couple I like gets upgraded from "will they or won't they" to "they will", but ARGH akjhfidsuhfkuedkl sometimes the way it's done is so fucking stupid and crappy the get-together makes me facepalm all over the place. It's even worse when it's a couple I dislike or am neutral towards. How about you all?

Ross and Rachel from Friends. So drawn out and the characters got worse and worse, so bitter and whiny and just plain NASTY, by the end of it I was only glad they got together so they could stop making other people miserable.

Fuck them for making Emily the bad guy, when her fiance said the WRONG NAME ON THE WEDDING DAY.

As much as I like Brennan/Booth from Bones, it was really weird that they basically made them a couple OFF-SCREEN. Dafuq?

House and Cuddy. I like to forget it ever happened, really.

Mako and Korra from legend of Korra. I wasn't really rooting for any ship by that point but it was so wtf that they got together yet it wasn't even clear if Mako had broken up with his then-girlfriend by then.

The way Makorra played out actually made me like Borra, when I wanted Makorra before the show even started.

Scratch that, it was actually the way Mako played out. Please just disappear Mako.

I hated Harm/Mac from JAG to begin with, but the way they got together at the last minute and flipped a coin to decide who would leave their career for the other pissed me off to no end.

Ugh, this.

I shipped Sylar/Elle on "Heroes" in Season 2 before they had met. Both characters were villains then, and both were pretty unhinged, so I liked writing fanfic about them being remorseless serial killers in love and on the run (...don't look at me like that). Then in Season 3, they retconned it so they were good-ish guys? And they had dated a little pre-villainy days? And then they had weird bonding adventures but Sylar killed Elle three episodes later? I was so disappointed.

So mad at Heroes for doing that.

Almost everyone in ER post Peter leaving, Mark dying and Carter going off the deep end hooked up in truly WTF ways....and that was just the people I legitimately shipped mind you.
