It seems like it's taking me longer and longer to be able to focus my eyes at different distances. It's by no means instant -- but usually after a minute I can adjust to looking at something across the room as opposed to something at computer distance, but today it's been about 5 minutes and I still can't properly focus on my computer.

I hate getting old. It sucks.

Anyone have any eye exercises or anything that helps with this kind of B.S.?

Would eye massages help? They're supposed to relieve tension and help with eye strain. Maybe your eyes will focus faster if the surrounding muscles are relaxed?

I'll do anything. How do you do an eye massage?

I have absolutely no idea what your situation is, but a doctor once suggested to me to remind myself about once an hour of so to stop and focus on something in a different distance and let my eyes slowly adjust. To do this with a couple different things at different focus levels (distance, small or big like text or out the window). He assumed it was because I spend so much time staring at a computer screen for work and needed to give my eyes a break from too much strain.

Ugh, that's happening to me too. I'm gonna need reading glasses soon--either that or bifocals. Bifocals.
