I'm really curious where they're going to take him after JiM, but yeah, I don't foresee any change, let alone redemption. The other one had that in JiM, so doing that again would be pretty dull.

Still going to read it to see where Gillen is taking this new Loki. I hope he'll remain more of a trickster instead of a moustache-twirling villain, but hey, maybe he can be a combination of the two.

NEGL if Gillen actually tries to go the redemption route with him I will probably barf.

Loki's done some pretty horrific shit before this, but forcing a child to commit suicide so he could take over his body and destroy everything he'd worked toward is IMO the worst thing he's ever done.

I think he could change in the sense that he can continue in his current trend of becoming a complex character. Maybe he can become Chaotic Neutral eventually.

That's not the same as redemption, though. I doubt he'll ever be GOOD. I don't think he CAN be.

I don't want him to change, he doesn't deserve the chance of change. He deserves to be miserable forever.

Um... do people realize Kid!Loki was still Loki? I mean, everybody goes on about how he's beyond redemption, but honestly Kid!Loki wasn't a completely new character, it was just Loki without years of dark magic/lies/mind fucks/sadness/abuse/jealousy/etc.

If anything, it shows Loki wasn't just 'born evil', and he has the potential of doing something good... even if it doesn't seem like it.

This. Kid Loki is Loki without Ragnarok and a thousands of years or crap on him. Kid Loki is Loki as he used to be: all the fun, charm and cleverness that made Thor bring him back.
