Well... The most noble thing you could do is order the original from Japan, but they don't have the English language format. For me, I usually go to VocaloidOtaku.net forums where a user posted her Touhou games for everyone, even non-users to download.

Just Google search "Touhou download" and click on the VocaloidOtaku link.

For which ones do you start, this depends on whether you like Story or Easiness. For Story, you should go for Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, as it's the first game in the official Touhou series. If you like Easiness, then play Imperishable Night (3rd game in series). Personally, I advise playing Imperishable Night first to get a feel for the series, and then go for Scarlet Devil.
