SPOILERS for last week's episode

Honestly, I was really hoping he was going to rape her in the last episode. Not because I want to see anyone get raped, just because it seems inevitable. They have superb chemistry, in a very fucked-up way that's almost sexual despite the lack of attraction between them. He seems to be conflating his mommy issues into some sort of Oedipal intimacy complex--I honestly don't know enough about psychology to talk intelligently about what's wrong with him, but I do know that if I wanted to hug my mother I wouldn't feel the need to take my shirt off first. At the end of the episode when she started playing along with him so he wouldn't kill her, it made me think maybe she won't resist when he does finally try to rape her--but it will still be rape.
