I think you're reading way too much into it.

I think they're not reading enough into it. If you take the words exactly as written, OP has an elaborate ideal suicide plan, contingent on a fictional world becoming real. If you read more into it, it might turn into a... sex thing, or whatever, IDK. But you get suicidal ideation from a literal interpretation.
