another person wondering about this... I only ever see her face online or when I am checkout and happen to glance at the tabloids. Also why does the amount of love she gets NEED to be 'counteracted' by hate?

Especially considering most of the titles on magazines that I've seen lately have been about the affair with that director. Getting called 'homewrecker' and agonizing over RPatt's relationship pains isn't exactly positive.

Hm...I feel the need to counteract love usually when I'm upset about being what seems to be a minority. It's a little frustrating to not be represented, because then it feels like you're all alone thinking a certain way. It feels a bit like you don't count or matter. I'm generally happy if I can find a small circle of like minded people, and we can hate in a quiet little corner somewhere.

I see her face online everywhere. Try to check out an unrelated video? There she is! Walking down the street? Her face is on a car driving past! Shopping for art supplies? BAM! Notebook and planner. Just want a T-shirt? Buy the Breaking Dawn version! Want to read an interview of an actor that quit 10 years ago? Side-bar has fresh blood still kicking! Checking my e-mail? Guess how much the movie she starred in just made! ...It just goes on and on.

Maybe I just react to it in a different way, haha. Like, I was looking for messenger bags, and I found a New Moon messenger bag with Robert and Kristen's faces superimposed on it. And for me, it went so far beyond horrible and tasteless to enter the realm of hilarious, and I had to fight the crazy impulse to buy it! Because there is just no way to justify spending money on something that represents a franchise I hate, but it was so hilariously repellant to me that I really wanted to have it.
