IDK. I've written two fics in my entire life. They were for a dead fandom, but I didn't particularly care. I wrote about 120k, posted it to the LJ journal that's been dead for 2 years and felt accomplished.

I've had a few comments that enjoyed it+reminiscence over the days the fandom was active. That's enough for me.

Sure it's an abandoned house, but I enjoyed making the 'furniture' and placing it in the house for future passer-bys to enjoy.
