She's got a lot of potential, but like the anon a few lines above me said, she comes across as bland. She's supposed to be a scientific BAMF and she just looks at Thor in awe and giggles for almost half the movie. I'm SO hoping that they develop her more and show the pay off to her research (and interacting with Bruce and Tony because that'd be the most AWESOME thing) and she's not just an aesthetically pleasing love interest for the main guy that oh yeah is also like, smart or something.

I quite like Jane myself but I do agree with this, she has a lot of potential that I really do hope they go with. Granted I'd rather her and Thor were friends but that isn't going to happen so I'll hope for her being well rounded as well as being his love interest. I'm just really hoping they don't have Sif be jealous of Jane, I'd actually quite like to see them get along and hit it off in some unexpected but awesome way.
