I think I completely disagree with you. :)

I do agree that her movie portrayal differs from her canon portrayal, but that's true of basically all the characters (see Snape, for example).

I think she's terrifying in the movies. I think her lust for Voldemort comes through in a way that it didn't for me in the books as does her sheer delight in chaos and torture and pain. I love the way HBC plays Bellatrix.
