it kind of reminds me of that thing that goes around every now and then where the words are all scrambled except for the first and last letters, because the brain reads words as a whole block rather than separate letters or something.

…except my spouse and I can never read that thing or vowels stuff like this. He's dyslexic, so it's just completely fucking with him, and I have autistic verbal processing issues, so my brain likes to substitute random totally wrong words even when the spelling is completely standard. WHICH MAKES THE INTERNET INTERESTING.

(For what it's worth, for me it read "fuck canard this, you canada scrytry." I know, I know.)

I'm used to internet shorthands and I'm good at crossword puzzles. This probably helps in deciphering shorthands. I'm pretty hopeless at scrambled word puzzles though. As for the scrambled letters except first and last, I can't read the longer words well, especially if the root of the word isn't easily readable anymore.

Dyslexic people make for some very interesting conversations. Once a dyslexic guy told me "golf" backwards is "flog" - blew my mind.
