Yeah...she didn't just use uncredited one line quotes, she lifted whole pages and passages from multiple sources without giving credit to anyone. It's called plagiarism.

I only really know about Dropbox for online storage. I'm pretty sure it has a space limit, though? (could be wrong about that)

Honestly, I'd recommend just getting an external hard drive. They're pretty cheap, fast, and easy.

In reviewing the information on the fanhistory.com page, it still appears to be primarily quotations. There are moments that she uses lines from books that are approximately the same, but there don't appear to be 'whole passages' verbatim from books. At least, not to the extent you seem to be implying, though I guess 'passages' could refer to one or two sentences. Obviously what she has is enough to be called a plagiarist, but the heart of the matter is still that she borrowed lines from other sources for her Harry Potter fanfic and people are still angry about it. The expiry date on this wank has probably gone, it's no longer obvious why Cassandra Clare should be so contemptible because all that stuff happened in 2006, and isn't actively relevant to her professional career. The target demographic for her books would have been around 10 years old at the time, most of them probably have no idea about it.

Well, not really bad things, but someone gave me the first book in her second series [Clockwork Angel I think?] and it was pretty good? Better than the bit I read of the first series anyways. So, if you're going to read any of them, I recommend the one set in Victorean London instead of the first series.

I don't really Tumblr much. I have an account and a couple of accounts I kinda half watch when I get around to it, and that is about it. I have a few friends I talk to/discuss on LJ, but I wish sometimes that there were more of a presence.

My favorite show ever is La Femme Nikita, and I know I'm completely out of luck on that front! :P

I don't know about any of you other Pottermore'd Slytherins, but I fulfilled my house goal today by being terribly uncharitable and stuff as usual. Kicked some puppies and shoved some hufflypuffs.

I'm gonna sit back and think about how I'm going to save the world later, but try to do it in the most moody and misunderstood fashion possible so that the folk around me don't understand what side I'm really on. It's hard being me, although I really love me :(
