I never connected with Amy the way that I connected with Rose, Martha and Donna.

But even though I enjoyed Jenna as Oswin in 7x01, I am trying to manage my hopes and expectations for Clara because I don't trust Moffat with a female character as far as I could throw him.

But I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to like Clara because I want to connect with the companion again in hopes that maybe I'll love the show like I used to.

lol. As much as I h8 SanSan, I obviously didn't care about the fact that their relationship was downplayed for the sake of the relationship itself.

But I do think it is part of the larger picture of my problem with the way HBO has handled the series in the way that it has pushed character stuff to the background.

I do too, but I wasn't disappointed at all. In the end, Charlotte gave up the one thing she'd been wishing for her whole life so that Tiana could be happy, and that shows how much she loves her (whether romantically or as a friend, either way it's beautiful).

For the record, I don't know anything about this fandom (so perhaps this is a running gag or something). I just find it surprising -- and worrying -- that you'd still be into the idea, even after researching actual bestiality.
