Lemme just say to any assholes who might think intimidating and browbeating people get them better service: The second we think we can get away with screwing you over in revenge we usually do. And we spread the word.
But I have personally gone extremely out of my way to help out people because they smiled at me or asked how my day was. On bad days just having eye contact made was good enough for me to be extra friendly.
