Madeline icon!!!!

(I'd offer to fangirl with you, but I only came into the series recently and am rationing myself because I know there won't be any more; only up to the start of s3.)

Madeline is awesomely evil. :D

I think the best is through S3. Then it starts to derail a bit. But those first seasons were amazing, imo. I love the grey morality and complex characters.

She is very much both. (Similar to your icon above, the "I'll help you" bit in New Regime is possibly the most intense line-delivery I have ever seen.)

Don't want to go looking for fandom until I'm finished because I hate spoilers - and I have a feeling it's going to be a bit of a pain to find things with the CW show cluttering up the search results.

I love the part at the end of New Regime, where Madeline tells Nikita that next time she'll be ready for her. That scene is very intense as well.

I can totally empathize with both parts of that. Sadly, there really isn't much fandom to speak of anymore. There is a fanfic archive that has some good stuff. And a few of us that still discuss it on occasion. But the icon comm that I run is totally dead and has been for a long time. And there really is no public discussion at all. If you end up finishing it and wanting to talk, feel free to poke me either here or on LJ. I always love discussing the show.
