OMG THIS MOMENT. For the whole movie, they'd been kind of antagonistic but then all that sudden "NOOOOO! HARRY I LOVE YOU!!!!! NO!!!!!" and THEN Bruce Willis is all "I love you too, son!"

I find it adorable when people smile and shrug or duck their head after they receive a compliment.

Also, platonic cuddling. It gets me every time. I don't mean normal hugs, I mean actual prolonged cuddling. Heck, even just friends sitting or lying in close proximity will get my squee going because there's the possibility of cuddling. <3

Seconding the "getting her tested for learning disabilities" suggestion.

This might sound silly, but have you tried visual aids?

Like, use marbles or some such object and group them like this:

2 marbles + 5 marbles = 7 marbles

And then

5 marbles + 2 marbles = 7 marbles

And see if she gets it?

I have vague memories of using things like those as springboards to learn how to "visualize" mathematical concepts (like a sliding scale for additions and subtractions of negative and positive numbers), although I will admit that eventually things like differential calculus stumped me to the point that I could only work them out through brute force memorization, so I might not be the best to dispense advice here. D:

There's another tumblr-famous person that does this too, taking jokes and then reblogging with their not-funny commentary.

It's really annoying and it makes me wonder why people like this get so popular because it's not even entertaining like a real lulcow SJW. They're entire tone made trying to read their tumblr unpleasant.

I'm probably the minority, but I felt that Ellis was the only memorable character in L4D2. Even Nick was kinda just there to snark some of the time. I'm having a hard time recalling any lines that stuck out to me, other than forced memes.

I think this is actually from the second episode but I didn't have any screencaps on this device from the first.

I'm always forgetting how much makeup he started out rocking so I get where you're coming from! He probably didn't bring it with him through the gate so it always pleases me that someone had to fill that requisition form out. :D

I've just started watching DW (yeah, I'm late to the game...). I just got done with Tennant, who, hands down, was amazing. I loved his darkness and his rage. I thought he had a natural chemistry (not necessarily romantic) with all his companions, even when I wasn't a huge fan (Martha). He was what sold me on DW (Eccleston was cool, but didn't blow me away). I'm not sure how I feel about Smith. I'm halfway through S.5 and I'm not really jiving with Amy, but I'm not feeling it with the Doctor. Scenes that I nearly had me in tears with Tennant seem way toned down. I think I could have been okay with Smith if I hadn't seen Tennant, does that sound weird? He's not bad, but to go from all that really crazy brink of insanity/height of arrogance stuff to a rather chipper fellow causes misfires in brain. :S I actually wouldn't mind seeing Smith with Catherine Tate. Donna and the Eleventh Doctor would be a hoot.

I'm not familiar with Classic Who, so I don't know if maybe Moffat is channeling earlier DW? I'm probably going to stay out of fandom because with what little bit I've peeked into there is wank (between Doctors, between Classic and New, so on and so forth).

I think I need a crash course.

Agreed. My brother and I used to have a running joke that the first thing the Ministry of Magic should have done when Voldemort came back was shut Slytherin down, since it seemed like just about everyone in that house eventually turned evil anyway.

I love helping people and I don't think of myself as an evil person. But I get sorted into Slytherin all the time LOL.

I think it's my depression that makes me have a sour outlook and gets me sorted into that house. :) Then I remember that Slytherin is clever and I kind of like being clever :D
