There's this moment in Stargate Atlantis episode where the people from Earth are packing up and leaving. Sheppard is in his room with Ronon and Teyla awkwardly trying to say goodbye, when Ronon walks up and hugs him and lifts him off the floor. That spontaneous hugging/lifting up move gets me every time.

Also when people put their hands on the backs of necks as a kind of not-hug but grabbing and squeezing move.

(I'm bad with words tonight but hopefully you get what I mean.)

Saluting, yes. Especially when it's our men and women in uniform. Gives me a prideful, patriotic thrill.

As I work in a place that gets lots of families with younger children running around, I also like watching little kids holding hands. As in I think it's adorable when you have a two little siblings looking out for each other and holding hands, or an older sibling holding a younger sibling's hand so they don't wander off. Makes me feel sort of nostalgic, as an older sibling myself, for childhood days gone by.
