Rp. No, seriously, that's how I make fandom friends - just about the only way, actually, since I tend to be horribly shy online.

Yes, pressing foreheads together is a thing for me too. Specially when it is done out of relief or comforting someone and they're both smiling gently.

Also, a parent carrying their child, or letting their child rest their head on their chest.

Oh my gosh, I'm glad you're better. I don't- I don't know what to say. I wish a continued fast recovery.

Point is, is that she got that book deal for plagiarism. She's a terrible person. And if someone would rather not give her money then that's okay.

And Gilderoy Lockhart, the cowardly con artist and plagiarist.

...I'm going through their blog and...

"Every now and then send the people you follow messages. It means a lot to them. Not everyone has inbox privilege."

Gotta be a troll.

I want to bet it's probably just confusion about that statistic being "people who buy and play games" or "people who are into gaming fandom". Which is still unfair to assume it couldn't ring true for the latter anyways since not everyone keeps their gender open, and even fandoms divide into different groups and communities (eg: do we take only sites like Kotaku into account, or what about other geekdom hives like The Mary Sue, or Gay Gaymer, or lj, or Steam groups, or...?)

OH MY GOD.

Sometime I have problems with gifs I'm trying to post from imgur. But I don't know why that happens.

CC was friends with I think Holy Black. She recced her to one of her agents and that's why she got her book deals.

I have done this. Sadly it just gets the response of "No seriously, girls don't usually like games so what's up with this one?" type of response.

Then I haduken them into outer space and go back to playing my games. Problem solved!

Someone needs to take a chill pill and stop whining about a series that ended five years ago.

How the hell is it even possible in today's gaming industry climate that a 3rd-rate tacticool manshooter series that hasn't had a serious entry since the 1990s manages to bust out such a thorough (and savage) deconstruction of modern console combat America-saves-the-day power fantasy bullshit wrapped up in a modern take on Apocalypse Now?

Really, how does this even happen? This game is damn near art, and you'd never expect it to be -- which just goes to show how little we expect from games these days. It starts off so banal and safe the first ten, fifteen minutes, and then bam, things start getting weird. I've noticed the finishing-off of wounded hostiles has been getting meaner and bloodier, my squadmates aren't making jokes anymore, everybody's yelling at each other and nothing is making sense anymore. I've been approaching what feels like the end and things are getting weirder and more surreal the whole time -- the loading screen asking me if I felt like a hero yet hit the nail on the head, because I don't at all.

Holy shit. This right after The Walking Dead too -- it's a bit to take in.

Да! Я тоже думала это!
