(Anonymous) 2012-11-29 03:23 am (UTC)(link)The phrasing of "real girls" tends to call up real = cis for a lot of people, though. The phrase in general is suspect, even when trans issues aren't involved, basically. It might not be what the OP intended, but it kind of rubbed me the wrong way too...

I'm not saying you shouldn't feel uncomfortable per se. I'm just wondering why people in this thread are trying to make this about transphobia when it clearly is about het vs femmeslash.
