There was just so little to it, unless I missed something major. It was the same with Garrus, but I think for him they made up for it in ME3.
I didn't expect Thane to live, but at least a little more than a short make-out session and a letter.

Yea, you're right, there isn't much of it. It's a shame some of the romances were so bare bones, I just liked it despite that. Mass Effect romances make me miss Dragon Age romances.

I only ever romanced Alistair in Dragon Age, but that was such an incredibly sweet and well developed thing, so I absolutely agree. "Have you ever licked a lamp-post in winter?" haha.
