AUGH, there are people in my household who do that too. It's so bad I have to tell them DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FOR YOURSELF EXCEPT FOOD OR BATTERIES UNTIL XMAS! Or else they go out and buy what I already bought and meant to give them since I try to get my shopping done early.

One year these people literally went and bought the exact gifts I was going to get them and it put me in a real mess. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!

I am completely that sort of person as well, and I try not to be! I try not to buy anything but necessities during the holiday season, but it's so haaaaard.
