Oh yeah, me neither. :) I hate when people are shamed and belittled just for having a different opinion than someone else. Unfortunately, that seems to be really rampant in some circles of the SPN fandom. ...Well, a lot of fandoms, I guess.

Yeah, see, for me season six/season seven Dean seemed like such a natural progression from season one/two Dean. I thought it all fit. He seemed like the same guy, just older and sadder, a little more saturated in alcohol, and with...some of the life drained out of him, I suppose, which was - unfortunately - bound to happen. It just felt right to me. Of course, I also preferred the darker and angstier Dean because I felt like I could relate to him better (which is a sad admittance, I realize) so there's that. Annnd I also loved 2014!Dean, too. That might have something to do with it.

I think he's definitely got a lot going on in that head of his, yeah. I agree with that. I think the poor guy's suffering from depression, PTSD and alcoholism (sometimes I actually think he might suffer from some type of anxiety disorder as well, and possibly even some sort of dissociative fugue disorder) and my only issue there is that I really, really wish the show would say it out loud.
