Can you get your Dad anything that he enjoyed as a kid that he doesn't have access to anymore? My Dad went on and on about how much he loved the Carl Banks Donald Duck comics, but my grandmother threw all of said comic books away. Without too much legwork, I was able to get him a lovely compilation and it really made his day. DC and Marvel also put out these HUGE collections of the old comics, so I was able to get him some classic Batmans another year (and it was about $20 for a book that he enjoyed for several months afterwards.) This year, he's getting Tales of the Strange, Volume 1. :D
