Princess Leia was forced to wear the bikini because Jabba enslaved people. That's what he did. Not condoning it. Just stating the fact.

Carrie Fisher requested that she be given a costume that was less shroud-like than the ones she had worn previously. George Lucas gave her the bikini because that's what she wanted, in a manner of speaking. Or, you know, "be careful what you wish for because you just might get it." Carrie Fisher never objected to wearing it so I don't think we get to be outraged on her behalf.
