There may be 2-3 of people in my 'normal life' who know I'm into geek-stuff and go to cons. The most you could tell would be to look at my One Piece keychain or Knuckles phonestrap, which rarely leave my purse. I own all of 2 geek t-shirts to be worn when I'm with my fandom friends/not going to be taking off my coat. When a co-worker commented on me cosplaying in a photo my sister posted on FB, I seized up and went into 'ohmygodohmygodohmygod' mode (he was cool about it though).
Being in the geek-closet has been a big reason I haven't gotten a tattoo yet; I want it to be inspired by Sailor Jupiter, and I KNOW I'll get asked about it eventually. But she's an inspiration to me, and I'm really hoping to make the tattoo my way out of the shadows.
