All depends on the series.
Some, the dub is better - generally, for me compared to the original voice acting.
Some examples: Cowboy Bebop (don't dislike anybody in the Japanese, in particular, but the English just came out so much better), ROD the TV (Anita, why does your voice make me want to claw my ears out? You're my favourite character!), Higurashi (agh, it kills me that the second season wasn't officially translated - Ooishi, and Rena make me twitchy), Ichigo Mashimaro (Matsuri and Miu...gagh)...
Then there's a few I prefer the dub, just because that's what I caught first - Durarara is the prime example here...I wanted to watch it doing other stuff, at first, so I put the dub on...now hearing any voice but Kari Wahlgren coming from Celty is just wrong.
