17. I do much the same and also agree with this secret. My friends and I joke all the time about how such-and-such a non-canon pairing is 'totally canon' just because we find it amusing to do so. It doesn't mean we actually believe it. I'm constantly doing this with my own favorite slash pairing, and it doesn't mean I actually think it is canon. But Hell if they don't have a bucketful of subtext.
