There are 4 fics using the Ethan tag. Three of them look like Stiles/Ethan fics. So, even if it doesn't happen, we've got fic to keep us warm.

I just want Stiles' bisexuality explored, period. I'm not really concerned who with (although Derek is my top wish) as long as it's someone.

Same here. I ship Sterek and all, but I would be thrilled as fuck if Stiles explored his bisexuality with A N Y O N E. As far as canon goes, I am dying for Stiles to be canonically bi (especially since Jeff has said they've purposefully hinted at this), whereas I'm content enjoying Sterek in fic only.

That was exactly my first wish when I saw that the twin Alphas were going to seduce one of Scott's friends (though, I kinda hope one gets to seduce Stiles and one gets to seduce Isaac or Danny, because that would be fun!).

I, too, will be disappointed if Stiles bisexuality is explored.

I don't know that anything will replace Sterek as the fandom OTP, sadly.

I'm kind of hoping that a) it will happen and b) it will be like those new ships that steal the crown from the previous reigning ship after an influx of slashy canon. It's happened before; Dean/Cas became the primary ship of SPN fandom after three seasons with Wincest at the helm, Matt/Mohinder exploded out of nowhere in season two of Heroes to become a serious competitor of Mohinder/Sylar, etc.

My prediction is that Aiden will be going after Lydia (in an excerpt released from the script, Ethan accused him of liking "her"), and Ethan will be going after Stiles.

One of, like, two or three fics exploring this. This one is the best, I think. Long but really dirty.

My predictions on those spoilers: the new gay character will be Danny's boyfriend that we'll see for one episode; Stiles' bisexuality is not touched; the alpha twins will seduce Lydia and Erica (or some new character, does Scott even have any friends besides Stiles?). Anyway, no way in hell is it going to be Stiles.

One of the wolves in the alpha pack is named Ennis, which I immediately connected to Ennis del Mar of Brokeback Mountain gay cowboy fame. However, it looks like he dies in the first couple episodes. If Jeff Davis has talked up the inclusion of a new gay character only to kill him off immediately, fandom is gonna be piiiiiissed. I don't know, I'm still hoping Teen Wolf is better than that.

God I hope they seduce Danny, if only to bring Danny into the show more.

I don't want a new guy for Lydia. She needs some fierce single woman time. And also to bitchslap Peter.

I wish fandom would get over Stiles a little, and that the canon itself were brave enough to develop other characters instead. But I'm concerned that given the showrunner and the actors' involvement with the fandom, next season will be the Stiles And Everyone Else show, which eh. I can barely stand the fandom which sees it that way, I think I won't enjoy that show at all.

(And I even do like Stiles! I just like the other characters too and want a chance with them, y'know?)

I feel you so much. Stiles is definitely my favourite, among an entire cast i love, but the fanon around the character makes me so tired of him. I want more screen time and development for everyone else already.

I agree with this, but I would love to have a developed bisexual character anywhere. If that's Stiles, great, if it's someone else, that's great too.

I like Stiles plenty, but I have love for so many of the characters as well (Erica, Isaac, and Boyd. Lydia. Danny. Sheriff Stilinski and Melissa McCall) and I hope we get to see more of them and have their characters developed too!

Prepare for heartache and disappointment.

You've built it up too much already. Even if most of it happens now... it'll happen WRONG. imperfect in all the ways you know your version was better.

You can be right and still hate it all.

I've been avoiding promo material to keep expectations low, but I wonder if checking them out will do that for me.

That 3 looks way too much like an S or a 5 and not so much like a 3... I had this sudden fear that I had missed 2 whole seasons of Teen Wolf.

I bet if anything this will be like Kurt and Sam but for Teen Wolf. I mean remember we were all so sure Sam was going to be gay for Kurt, but looked how that turned out.

I've never understood how/why people can ship characters who haven't even been introduced yet. You know nothing about their personality! You don't know who they'll have chemistry with! (I say this as a slash fan: it's obvious for at least some people, none of this matters as long as the two guys are considered attractive.) Of course, I don't understand how people can ship two characters from completely different shows either, and people somehow manage it...

Anyway. I personally think you've read too much into these "spoilers" (at least one of which has been completely misquoted and misrepresented by the fandom, IMO). Prepare to be disappointed. Hard for a Sterek shipper to say, but there it is.

If anyone's gay (in addition to the token gay guy who's name I've forgotten but he was cool i guess) I hope it's not a huge drama or just there for the fanbase to get their jollies off. a real lgbt character, not teen wolf glee
