Stupid hurts

Ow. I just flopped down belly-first onto my bed and for about three minutes afterwards something in my head was making strange pulsing whirring noises. And it hurt quite a lot! Is that normal?

It could be (COULD BE) a sign of high blood pressure. Even if it's not, get yourself checked anyway, a lot of people don't realize they have HBP but it's bad stuff.

Ugh, my mum and dad both have high blood pressure! Pretty sure my mum will still have her blood pressure testing thing so I'll check that out when I go home for Christmas. Thanks!

Lol. My head sort of snapped back and then bounced off the top of my back and jerked back down very quickly! It felt like I'd shaken something out of place, which considering we're talking about my head here was a little concerning...

I have no idea what that could be, but I'd suggest to always err on the side of caution and get it checked out/bring it up to your doctor at some point? I mean, that doesn't sound like something entirely normal to me...

Yeah, I've actually had it before without the belly-flop, so I might go see my doctor sooner rather than later!

That makes me more concerned for you, anon! Yeah, definitely go get that checked out - it could be nothing, but if it IS something, better to catch it soon.

I really hope it's all of us just worrying about nothing, though. :3

That happens to me sometimes. Blood pressure - all the blood rushing to/from your head. I have no idea if it's normal but it's something that I've always had happen and never brought it up to a Dr or had any issues. *shrug*

Sounds like what I get when I've been holding my breath or hanging upside down. It's probably just a combination of the rapid movement and exhalation of air as you flopped. Like a little mini gut check to sort of knock the wind out of you.
