See though, this just proves how well SJW's are working out.

I'm sure most of the people turned off by them don't suddnely become racist/misogenist/neo-conservatives, but they sure aren't paying attention to that cause you cared about and reblogged because hey, fuck you. Not x group. You.

Yeah, but that person isn't going to care no matter what I (or anyone else) likes or reblogs. Most of the time, I'm not liking or reblogging to convince anyone; I'm liking or reblogging to build up the community of people who care about the same thing I care about, to prove to myself that there are other people who feel the same way I feel about something, to prove to myself (and hopefully someone else out there) that they aren't so alone in believing X or Y. Sometimes random small things like that can help; not always, and maybe they're not changing the world, but baby steps are still steps, and I certainly feel better for having whatever kind of community I've found on tumblr.

Also, there's a difference between "Oh eyeroll, there's that person being annoying by complaining about that thing that doesn't actively affect me, let me scroll on by" and "THAT FUCKER IS OPPRESSING ME BY COMPLAINING ABOUT SOMETHING I LIKE HURTING SOMEONE ELSE, HOW INTOLERANT OF THEM". I'm hearing more of the latter here? And in that case I come down on the SJW side, no matter how annoying they may be.

I'll assume then your community isn't one that say, posts pictures of folks and then talks about how horrible they are because of their cosplay choice, or posts peoples addresses and asks their followers to send death threats. You might actually be a social justice person with some POS friends.

But yes, doing things within and for your own group is certainly no crime. But making everything "my group vs THEM" will ensure your group stays separate and feeling alienated.

also I could add the SJWs are actually doing harm to the people they're supposed to be protecting.

For example trigger warnings which used to be out there to help abuse victims and PTSD sufferers have become a complete joke because SJWs started demanding trigger warnings for everything that even mildly annoyed them.

(I swear I saw someone demanding a trigger warning for pictures of hotdogs for them and people who couldn't eat pork.. Because we all know vegetarians and people of certain religions are totally triggered by looking at pictures of meat. Yep. In fact I lived with someone who was a vegetarian ..didn't eat meat for that whole two years. We couldn't even go to the grocery store. /i hope you know this is sarcasm.)

Totally agree with this. I think SJWs are actually doing more damage than good. Like, telling someone with clinical depression who referred to themselves using the word "crazy" that they're self-hating ableists who internalized their bigotry and they should go kill themselves is not helpful. Or, one time, I saw a group of SJWs bully an autistic girl who said something mildly offensive (and didn't understand that it was offensive) into cutting herself, then goad her into posting pictures of it, and then actually turned around and whined about how triggering the pictures were after talking her into posting them. How exactly are you helping people by doing shit like this?

I also once saw a conversation in which a person was arguing about how trigger warnings are stupid because people with PTSD need to just get over it, and instead of responding to him, they began attacking a girl who was arguing with him - because she had once, several months before, forgotten to post a trigger warning on something she'd posted. I don't understand under what theory they believe that they are being helpful.
