Sorry I'm going to assume OP is because...you'd kind of have to be to vote for Mitt. That or be extremely pissed off at Obama and very uninformed about Romney's past job and flip-floppity political antics.

Or you could vote for what you actually believe and vote for any of the other candidates. Did you know Roseanne Barr was 5th place?

The Libertarian party got 1% in the past election. That sounds like nothing but it's the first time it's happened in quite some time.

This is going to sound really jerkish but I honestly believe that unless the candidates you prefer truly stand a chance against the others, a vote in favor of them is wasted. I had considered a few other candidates last year but then dropped that as soon as I saw how crazy serious people were about Mitt.

I'm all for voting Third party in local/state elections, but the President's never going to go to Third party. Although if you live in a state that's not even close, I can understand the impulse to just make a statement.

I was extremely pissed off at Obama and informed about Romney's past job and flip-floppity political antics, and thus couldn't bring myself to vote for either one of them.

My state was sure to end up with electoral votes for Obama, regardless, so my personal vote didn't matter.
