Hot scene, nonsensical fandom

(Anonymous) 2012-12-06 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
So I just got this idea that I've currently smushed highly illogical fandom faces onto (sorry OP of #1 and their supporters) wherein two werewolves who live like normal people find someone one of them knows who's hurt and dying. To save her, he turns her (in a mutual blood-sucking, so maybe vampires instead...), and while she's passed out and he's recovering, the other one can't contain himself and kisses the one who did the turning and licks all the blood from his lips/out of his mouth.

I have no idea where this came from, why I find it so hot, or why my inclination was to set it in a fandom that makes no sense considering I also watch Teen Wolf, Buffy and Angel.

I would say what fandom I used, but I'm afraid I'm reaching a point where I'll soon be recognizable as That Anon Who Only Talks About One Show (That Nobody Else Cares About).

I have nothing to say about your werewolf/vampire AU-thing-idea, except that it sounds like fun and you should write it. I just want to say that you are not alone in fearing becoming That One Anon Who Only Talks About One Show.

But that's the beauty of anon, isn't it? No one ever needs to know that it's you every time! And if they just assume it's always you, then you get all the credit whenever another anon talks about your show. It's a win-win situation, really.

Oh, come on, Anon! Wear your one-fandom hat with pride! Make a sock account for it, like sockpuppet and anonymously yours.

I know there *was* a book series [at least, I think it was a book series] way back in the 90's that actually had group of were-wolves that were sort of like that? Like they had to exchange blood to turn someone, though it's a little more complicated that what you had here. [The turnee had to be under a certain age, or the risk that it wouldn't work increased greatly, ect.] It was really well done.

I don't remember what the series was, and any fandom it had is dead and gone I'm sure, but this just reminded me of that. =3

/completely misses the point

Iiiiiiinteresting. I'll have to look into this.

SA

It really is! I'm sorry I can't give you a title, but here's a little more that might help you find it: The werewolves are next to impossible to injure with anything but glass, and there's actually a logical reason why they don't get on with vampires - both species use blood, albeit for different things.

Heh. The show is Castle, which does not do supernatural things at all. It's a crime show that's more mystery novel-ish than CSI-ish. And my baby of it is Det. Kevin Ryan, who has beautiful hands, amazingly blue eyes and an epic bromance. And often very nice suits.

I only just noticed your name indicates your sockitude, and I was seriously wondering if you'd forgot to anon.

That's one of those shows I keep meaning to at least watch the first three seasons of, but never get around to :(
but I would read the stuffing out of your au fic and brief through some plot summaries for it. Procedural supernatural au? Waaaaaaaant \:D/

Watch Castle. It's fun. If you haven't watched Firefly yet, give it a whirl first because Nathan Fillion makes a number of Firefly jokes/refs. You don't need to watch Firefly though, but it is something that made me like the show more.

TL;DR - Watch Castle so I can bombard you with cast interviews and Nathan Fillion goodness for shits and giggles >:)

And One Piece too! I should go read this week's offerings.

Seen firefly, and check Fillion's twitter on occasion. That man is is practically an irl browncoat.

Sgkhdsgshi my list of things to get into is too loooong.
And I accidentally just got into Prison Break. If I was a ER waiting room, and fandoms were my patients, I'd be super corrupto.
