Betcha these are the same people who write fanfic in which Rarity is a selfish asshole whose friends all secretly hate her. A fashion designer as a likeable character? Not on our manly show for manly guys!

And let's not forget "An athletic girl who isn't into typical romantic things? She's totally gay!"

In all fairness, due to the high percentage of female characters, pretty much EVERY character is called gay in that show.

That said, it does bother me that when people want to pick a lesbian character out of a group for some reason, they pick the tough one, especially if a het guy does it.

Eh, Rainbow Dash isn't just "tough" and loyal. She's also really arrogant, an attention whore, a jerk and doesn't care much for what others like.

Btw, when Rarity showed how tough she can be by turning her kidnappers' demands back on them ("A Dog and a Pony Show"), most het guys started complaining about what an evil, manipulative bitch she was to those poor monsters who "just" wanted to keep her as a slave.

Also it's kind of telling when het guys think only "tough", masculine women could not fal for a man. "Weak" and feminine women must all be het, because they are more attractive to them.
