I didn't have a problem with Velanna and didn't know she was so hated. Anders really pissed me off, but I expected people to excuse him because he's a romance option. And because they might like his reasons, of course.

I freaking hate Anders SO MUCH. I disliked him already, but after what he did I can't even stand the sight of him!

SA: Yeah, I mildly disliked him from the start and it kept growing stronger. Sad thing is that I don't remember what I decided to do with him in the end. *kicks memory* But that was my first contact with him. After that I played Awakening and liked him there - but that doesn't mean I'll like him more in DA II next time.

Yeah, I actually really liked Anders in Awakening, so I was excited when I heard he was going to be in DA2...and then I saw what they'd done to him. Now I generally try to avoid him as much as possible in DA2 - which can get interesting with how they almost try to force you into romancing him.

SA: I didn't think he was forceful, but maybe it's just my bad memory. I thought it was harder to avoid accidentally romancing Leliana than it was to say no to Anders' advances. But the funny thing is that Anders was always in my party driving me crazy because I needed a healer xD

Pfff, I didn't really mean him - just that with how they set up starting a romance with him, I always accidentally start down that path XD;; [Of course, it doesn't help that I always roleplay the dialogue options, so I can't just have Hawke know what's going on wiht him is].

I usually had Anders in the Party because, as much as I disliked him, I preferred him the Merrill [sp?]. ...Then again, I wasn't fond of most of the companions in DA2 [Aside Varric and Isabela. They were just awesome.]
