None of us no the truth, but this one is pretty goddamn shaky and there is not one shred of concrete proof yet.
da
(Anonymous) 2012-12-08 02:27 am (UTC)(link)If you were really traumatized and all that, wouldn't you want him put away so that he couldn't do it to anyone else?

Re: OP
(Anonymous) 2012-12-08 03:14 am (UTC)(link)Here you go
The first one I'm going to go ahead and say is the shakiest of the lot. Kevin says they had a relationship but that it was one established when all parties were of legal age.
The guy went to sesame street first. Not the police. not the press. Sesame street. Then he went civil. Also, turns out he's got a criminal background that does rather put anything
Then he recanted, some say as part of a settlement. They he re-recanted, but talked about how he was still getting a settlement... apparently his lawyer stopped talking to him at this point.
The next guy has a similar story to the first, though at least hasn't shown a complete lack of integrity in the same way. He says they met up when he was 16, and didn't have sex till he was legal, but that other adult things happened before that. He's suing for 5 million but says he'll drop it if Kevin "admits what happened".
The third guy is just some initials. But he's also in the lawsuit and writing a book.
True or untrue, there's a definite focus on money here. And the guy's had to leave his job and basically has had his career ended.
I'd have a lot more doubt if any of these three men had filed criminal charges, but as it stands I am not about to condemn him just yet.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-08 06:43 am (UTC)(link)Re: Here you go
I can see how some people might say it's drastically inappropriate and technically illegal, but seems hardly worth ending the guy's career over. Below age of consent =/= victimized child. :/
Re: OP
These men weren't children when Clash had sex with them, even if they were below the AoC. Statutory rape is not the same as child molestation (and in fact, is a completely different crime in many jurisdictions).
Re: OP
(Anonymous) 2012-12-08 03:46 am (UTC)(link)I only mention it because this one seems to pop up everywhere lately, and my mind goes into weird tangents like, "I wonder if Venus de Milo would be considered a statue of limitations because she has no arms so she wouldn't be able to pick up a cup of tea, which seems like a decided limitation...."
And then I forget what I'm doing.
