I see some people are critiquing the OP, but based on my own experience, especially with this pairing, I don't blame OP! I like Dean/Castiel; it's one of my favorite pairings. But you should have seen the stupidity involved with a poll not long ago. It wasn't everyone, but some dumbasses were PMing other Supernatural fans constantly, begging us to vote for D/C and saying we weren't true fans if we didn't. Between my two LJ accounts, I must have gotten 10 PMs, and started blocking/reporting every person sending them. They had ridiculous, long ass messages allocating levels of dedication - if you vote for 1-3 hours straight, you're a beginning fan, 14-16, dedicated, and all this other stupidity. SURE, you could ignore them, but Jesus Christ, was it vicariously embarrassing and soured me a bit on Destiel. Just to spite them, I voted for other pairings a couple times, too. *shrug*
