"It's okay to judge white men as serial killers because it's mostly white men, but not okay to think black men are murderers, even though they're mostly black men." This is just as racist and biased.
There can be a lot of reasons these statistics look like this that have nothing to do with the color of your skin: police bias when it comes to arresting and profiling which might favor the stereotype over the truth, circumstances of birth and raising (impoverished people in GENERAL are more likely to commit crime, and black people are more likely to be impoverished).
But if you're going to stereotype and bias crime based on statistics, you can't change goalposts for another.

Serial killers aren't mostly white men as a percentage of population.
Statistically it's actually black men who are very slightly overrepresented.
