(Anonymous) 2007-08-21 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)Personally I know many who suffer from it; having studied the disorder for several reports and reasons, I really suggest you seek help on it because it will not benefit you at all in the end. Your metabolism is going to continue to slow down and eventually the rest of your body will as well. If you want a way of weight loss, it's better to go with a healthy way of doing so. Quite ironically, if you wish to increase your metabolism to burn fat, you should eat several small meals through-out the day to get your body used to digesting. Exercise in addition is the only way to get rid of it without harming yourself. (There's no 'easy' way.)
Also, if you do try the latter of the options, you will gain weight before you lose it. (Your muscles need to bulk up a bit in shape as they're used, then the layers of fat will start to decrease. Please, just consider the fact that you don't need to have your insides die and your bones show through your skin to be 'beautiful'.
