Someone not being interested in me. If someone I'm attracted to rejects me or just acts indifferent (even if simultaneously claiming interest), the attraction just dies.

People who need to push other people down in order to build themselves up and feel they are impressive. It's especially bad when people act like this with those they are trying to date.

This seems like it ought to be a given, but maybe not? Anyway, I feel exactly the same. Rejection, indifference, or casual dismissal kills it for me too.

Probably most of the time, but some people seem to pine or try to "win over" someone who appears to have made their feelings clear.
