They should have gone with a more serious character like Batman if they wanted more people to take notice about the issue.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-12 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)I, personally, am not hugely in to comics, and hadn't realized the extent to which women's bodies are sexualized before seeing a lot of the original images; I mean I'd seen a couple out of context, but just the variety artists have had to choose from is boggling to me. Especially in originals that feature both a male and female character.

Like, I am aware of this problem, very much so, but at the same time, some of the poses that actually made it on the cover of published comics...what.
(The worst-but-best-parody I've seen so far is this one. Seriously. How did that cover even happen?!)
