I'm not sure what you're actually saying happened to 50 Shades of Grey. If you're saying that it has been panned by fanfic readers unfairly... well from what I''ve heard (given that I haven't read it myself), you're being too generous as to how good it is. From what I've heard, the books are total crap, and what more, are the worst ever portrayal of BDSM to ever exist.
