Merlin was my first thought as well. No one watches Merlin for the excellent writing. Because that doesn't exist on Merlin.

Though Grimm is still fun to watch, sometimes. In a so bad, it's good kind of way, I guess? I love winding down with one of its goofy eps, after a trying week. :)

But the characters are WHY I like this show! Bad characters?

Weak plots/stories, I get - but what's not to love about the characters?

Besides Nick, really... I find Nick pretty but a little bland. The other characters are continually interesting to me, though.

I never understood how people can get into people just because of attractive characters. If I wanted to look at pretty people I'd just use Google images or buy posters from Wal-mart... why spend the effort of getting into a fandom?

The reason I don't watch Burn Notice is because the male lead is fugly and has a weak chin.

I hate men with weak chins. It's apparently a good show but I can't get past how the LEADING MAN is fucking ass ugly.

Same thing with the anime/manga One Piece. The art is grotesque and deformed. Not visually or physically appealing to me. If I'm going to spend my time with my vision center (my eyes) focused on something, then it needs to be appealing in some manner.
