So I tried to guess the fandom and came up with either A Song of Ice and Fire or the Marvelverse (comics and films).

I'd guess both of those are too active for there to literally be 50 OC/OC stories in a row -- there'd be some other stuff mixed in.

Homestuck was my thought (DOZENS of well-written characters - off the top of my head the only other canon I like that can say that is a book series that hardly ever gets talked about here), but the ratio to fantrolls/canon characters isn't *that* high, is it?

Then again, it could be "OC" in the since that the character was so poorly written it felt like an insert or something rather than the actual character?

Or maybe OP is just looking in all the wrong places for fic?

Makes me think of Mass Effect multiplayer OCs...sure, there are a few neat ones out there with good authors/artists to back them up, but most are only interesting to their creators.

A Song of Ice and Fire? Although the problem there is less the OCs and more the fact that people only write roughly 3-4 pairings and ignore everything else.
