Actors/Characters you find adorable rather than hot

Does this happen to anyone? You know how people (especially on tumblr) go around sobbing about how much they love an actor or character's perfect face or hands or hair or something? Does this ever happen with characters you just find unbelievably cute or fascinating or something?

I feel this way about some of Martin Freeman's characters; he's got a great face and is a wonderful actor imo. It doesn't take much to make me like his characters.

Also, a lot of the Hobbits. Sam is especially adorable though I don't think I've ever waxed poetic about him. He's just so good and kind and loyal; all qualities I love.

Rory from Doctor Who. I suppose he can be hot in his own way, and if he were real I'd marry him in a heartbeat, but I find him more cute than hot. Which isn't a bad thing at all. It suits him.

Actually, now that I think about it...Alistair from Dragon Age is the perfect example of this. He's one of those characters I find cute and hot, but more adorable than anything else. Still, he's one of my favorite love interests of ALL TIME and I never get enough of him. For a while after DA it felt like all I did was talk about how dreamy he was.

I second Martin Freeman's characters as well as Rory from Doctor Who.
Other examples for me are Stiles from Teen Wolf, Kurt from Glee, Ianto from Torchwood (though I'm not sure if they are not generally considered cute rather than adorable).

I find lots of actors really adorable but not hot, even if I can see why other people do. There are also some I find adorable that no one on earth finds hot or adorable or even tolerable *shrug* I just enjoy what I enjoy and don't care about the hyperbole of the tumblr fanidiots

Buddy Faith (and Takeshi Yamazaki, whom he was based on). I just want to pinch his cheeks!

I also find Foster Sahaiman (from the upcoming Professor Layton game) oddly entrancing. More "pretty" than "cute," though.
