Well, for one thing, you're projecting on to them when you don't know their true personae at all. For another, it wouldn't suit Taylor Swift's career - and I don't mean that to be cruel, I just really find it fascinating how absolutely driven she is to be a star, how many of her romances seem to be centered around that, & in general the whole relationship between her persona, her image, and her self - where we have this image of her that's been created that's founded on her being a friendly, down-to-earth, emotionally accessible, "real" person - it's just absolutely fascinating, more so than with any other celebrity, I think.

I don't know who either are (the name Taylor Swift means nothing to me) but they certainly don't look like they're made for each other at all. He looks like he wishes he were on the opposite side of the planet from her and she looks like she thinks she's being cute and doting.

She also looks like she would be really pretty if she wore less makeup and hadn't waxed her eyebrows into extinction.

Taylor appears to be completely incapable of committing to a real relationship. She cultivates this cute, girl-next-door image, but I personally think she's probably a complete little monster, narcissistic and selfish. I would not be at all surprised if she sabotages every "relationship" so she can write another song about it. I mean, did you see her Storytellers? Every story started with "So, like, this is a song I wrote about this boy..."

Also, she's twenty-three. And still writing high school style break up songs. She is not emotionally an adult, not if that's all she can come up with. She is not a country star, either. It's all the bubble gum pop I've ever heard. She needs to grow up and she needs voice lessons, too. She's not going to be able to ride the "cute little girl" train much longer, and when she has to actually sing something other than her inane little melodies, she just embarrasses herself. Her duet with Stevie Nicks embarrassed me.

Gah. tl;dr - I have FEELINGS.

This. She doesn't need to be in any relationships any-time soon (yes I am aware she has a new bf). Her last relationship ended and she STILL bought a house across the street from him and his family-that's just crazy. Not to mention she's been way younger men than her and jumping immediately into a new relationship. She could use a wake up call.

She does need voice lessons. She can't sing riffs and runs or carry a melody. I hear her song on the radio constantly and it honestly sounds like she talks thru her songs with little effort of singing at some notes.
