Except the problem is people use this to be an asshole to others just because of the characters they like without hearing what they have to say. I like awful characters who I would hate irl. I don't post victim blaming or bigoted stuff all over my page, so yeah someone's being an asshole if they think I condone that just because I like a character privileged in canon.
