Tumblr Help

Since there's a bunch of Tumblr questions here I'll just ask mine.

So there's a tag I created, and I tagged a bunch of posts with them. They show up on my blog, and I made sure that it's the first tag - yet when I search tumblr with this tag, only a random of assortment of the posts show up.

Anyone have any clue why?

2. I heard only the first three tags in a post show up in searches

1. Nope, it's a tag I invented - I checked before I posted, there were no posts.

2. I think it's the first five, and I always used the tag in first place.

3. THIS IS LOOKING INCREASINGLY LIKELY

I don't know if this is the problem, but I read that the Tumblr staff has begun to "curate" certain tags by listing posts with the highest number of tags first. The "curated" posts don't show up for me when I'm logged in, though, so you could be experiencing something different.

I didn't know they were called "curated" - but no, it's not that. The posts that appear don't even necessarily have the highest notes. Everything looks normal, all the posts just...don't show up.

This is beginning to get really weird. No one has apparently had the problem I have :/

I've got two guesses.

Reblogs don't show up in tracked tags.
Tumblr' search function leaves a lot to be desired.

Guess 1: Nope, they're not reblogs.
Guess 2: I think that's the answer to my problem. Sighhhh. I've given up on this.
